It is the retention of materials
that makes your hands tense!


Release the grasp
and you will be released of your tension!


Your emptying must precede MY filling!

to the world you live in.
It doesn't need to be big things,
great talents or yhuge possessions!


Your little mite given in great love is big enough!

Melancholy is contagious.
Do not advertise your suffering.
Do not fly the storm signal!

The world is in need of sunshine.
Be full of joy.

Concealing your troubles may be
commendable
for the sake of the society
that needs more cheers adn laughter.

Keep your hope alive.
Hope is curative!

Bankruptcy

"What does it profit a person if s/he wins the whole world, but loses the soul?" (Lk 9:25).

It means the value of the soul is inestimable, it is unspeakable.
The possession of the whole world and all it contains won't make people happy.

Its pleasures are false and deceptive!
Its riches, ranks and honors are powerless to satisfy us.
So long as we are without them, they glitter and sparkle.
So long as we don't have them, they seem desirable!
The moment we enjoy them, we realize that they are but empty bubbles!

The worst tragedy: we can't keep them for ever!
Death comes and separates us from the pleasures and properties.

Naked we come, naked we go!
We are dust and unto dust we shall return!

Any short-sighted policy of vested-interests seeded, manured, watered and calculatedly tended will eventually produce only bitter fruits!

This is true of individuals, communities, nations and civilizations.

What we sow in the morning, we harvest in the evening!

The Marsh

To fall into a bad habit is to slip into a marsh!

The more we strive to extricate ourselves, the deeper we sink!

We need some outstretched hand to grasp; we need help from outside.

We wait for somebody who has the power of the crane to lift!

We need somebody who is himself not steeped in the morass, mire and mud.

And ... here comes ... JESUS!

The Universe

We are in a University whose campus is co-terminus with the Universe itself, and where God Himself is the Chancellor!

We come for a day's contact-class and leave in the evening!

We shall watch, wonder and learn a few lessons! That is all.

God doesn't intend the students to meddle with the management!
